Not So Friendly Skies

Our Saturday went a little different. Bob, Luz and kids were at the house when I got in from service. Attached a picture of the kids, Tina in the poncho I made her and Jonathan in a Mizzou T-shirt.
We left for Memphis at three, knowing we had enough time to make our 7:15 flight to Las Vegas. We had some trouble finding the Terminal in the dark, remember assemblies in Memphis and the Airport hotel? We park, get to the desk, find out Northwest has changed it's schedule. We were changed to a 6:30 flight through Detroit. Seems like a natural route don't you think. I am directed to a cell phone island to talk to one of the airline gods. It will only cost $2200 to change our flight to Sunday. I say, sounds like we spend the night and go home. This will obviously be my last Northwest flight either by choice or your merger. Talk to the supervisor, we can do it for $100 a ticket. So here we sit in the Memphis Airport hotel until tomorrow, we now fly out at 8:30 am through Detroit and will get to Las Vegas around 1pm. So much for 2 days in Las Vegas. Plus, instead of getting back on Wed. at 12:30 we'll get home at 5:30 through Minneapolis. Sure have a nice select number king size bed tonight!
